Joni Topper is an ordinary woman with an uncanny ability to see God’s story woven throughout big and small events.

GloryTeller, that’s what people call her because she radiates the glory of God by sharing everyday moments in compelling storyteller fashion. Whether she’s wearing her grandmother, author, musician, or speaker hat, Joni’s favorite description of herself is, “One who desires to look like Jesus.”

Joni and her pastor husband have served in the same church for over thirty years.

She leads worship there and mentors young musicians by encouraging them to offer their musical talents for God’s purposes. All five of her grandchildren have joined her in the recording studio for various projects. Some of her albums can be found on music platforms everywhere. Joni believes game-changing course direction emerges from small events.

Upon retiring from a thirty-year career at the postal service, Joni found God directing her into a writing career, something she never expected.

In 2023, she co-founded Uprooted Women, an annual one-day women’s event that directs attendees to recognize that their foundation, their roots, are found in Jesus. Since 2023, she has contributed stories to seven collaborative books and launched her own award-winning debut book, The Power of a Well-Placed Yes: God’s Abundant Faithfulness in a Small Church. Her stories have also been included in publications such as Guideposts, Upper Room, War Cry, and others.

Joni wants to help you see your life as a vibrant part of HIS story by recognizing that God uses the little moments in our hearts to grow big possibilities.
